Volunteer Opportunities

At the Arlington Center for the Arts, volunteers play an important role! You have the opportunity to get directly involved in the visual, literary or performing arts programs sponsored by the Arts Center.

Opportunities for volunteers currently include:

• Event Support - Help with all aspects of event coordination for Arlington Open Studios, Shakespeare in the Park, Images of Arlington, and other fun, high-visibility community events.
• Committees - As a committee member, help schedule and run ongoing Arts Center programs, such as Literary Readings, Special Events, and Fundraising.
• Literary Programs - Set up for evening programs, and assist with publicity and mailings.
• Performances - Set up for evening programs, and assist with publicity and mailings.
• Facilities - Assist with general maintenance, including refreshing the gallery, installing exhibits, and coordinating signage.
