I turned this candle holder on the lathe in my shop. The wood is from an old Vermont maple used for sugaring. The tapping process colored the wood in interesting ways and as the tee died a fungus created a classic pattern of lines called spalting. I added iridescent paints to the top, paints which come to life with color in the light, including candle light. The candle is included with purchase.
