Wallflower I

Acrylic, watercolor, silkscreen, paper on birch panel

24” x 18”

I am consumed with hidden and exposed structure, both architectural and social. My multidisciplinary practice merges painting, collage, printmaking, sculpture and installation to create two and three-dimensional artwork. My work portrays an in-between space, something more accurately defining what each of us occupies daily. As our society becomes more global the desire to conform and assimilate is giving way to the desire to belong while being seen as a compilation of all of our layers.
