A Message from the ACA: COVID-19 Update
(Updated March 27, 2020)
The Arlington Center for the Arts will be closed to the public until April 7, 2020, with the potential for extension beyond that date. Our staff is still readily available remotely via email. Please visit our Staff Info page for direct emails or send any general inquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Following Governor Baker’s order to extend school closings, the Arlington Center for the Arts (ACA) is cancelling all programs scheduled until at least May 3, 2020. This includes:
All of us at the ACA are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment caused by this necessary response to developments surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19). Students, instructors, and patrons impacted by these cancellations will be contacted directly by our programming staff. Your patience is appreciated as we continue to navigate these challenging times the best we can.
As always, the ACA continues to monitor developments related to Coronavirus (COVID-19), following guidelines and recommendations from the Town of Arlington, Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Staying Connected w/ ACA
We recognize the uncertainty that weighs on all of us as our communities respond to the precautions around COVID-19. While we all must do our part to prevent the spread of the virus, we as an organization also feel a responsibility to continue to engage our community through the arts in these times of extended isolation.
The ACA will regularly be compiling activities, resources, and ideas for beating the social distancing blues. Please visit our Staying Connected page for a regularly updated list of links, resources, and ideas!
