Course Cancellation

The Arlington Center for the Arts reserves the right to substitute instructors, change times and locations, and cancel classes with a full refund if enrollment is insufficient to run the class. If possible, classes cancelled due to teacher absence or weather will be made up at the end of the term, or at a mutually agreed upon time.

Email Communication Policy

Please note that ACA will use the email address, which you provided at registration, as our primary means of communicating with you. In registering for an ACA program, you acknowledge that ACA has permission to email you with important updates, as well as information about upcoming events, programs and exhibition opportunities.

Requests to be removed from our email mailing list must be sent to info@acarts.org -- in your email, we ask that you also include an alternate form of contact (i.e. phone number) where an ACA staff member can reach you with any necessary updates regarding your registration.

Supplies

For children’s classes, all supplies are included. You can check any adult class for a supply list by going to the online registration page and selecting the semester and the classes you'd like to view.

Student Behavior

In order to preserve a positive learning experience for all, Arlington Center for the Arts reserves the right to dismiss any student for inappropriate behavior.

Photo/Video/Voice Release

ACA programs are sometimes videotaped or photographed for publicity in catalogs, newspapers, and online. Permission to be included in publicity is implied by enrollment. Please contact the office in writing if you do not wish to be included in publicity.

Late Pick-Up Policy

We ask that families pick up their children on time. Parents/guardians will be charged an additional $20/child for every 10 minutes they are late to pick up their child from an ACA class. This will be to compensate the wages of our employees covering that time for your child. If this occurs, ACA will submit an invoice to the family by the end of that particular week.

Please call us at 781-648-6220 if you will be late so we can notify our staff and your child.

Modifications & Accommodations

ACA is committed to making our programs accessible for our students and participants. If you would like to request a specific accommodation in advance of participation in ACA's programs, please fill out our Accommodation Request Form at least one week before the start of the program in which you will be participating and a member of our team will get back in touch with you.

If you have any questions regarding accessibility of any of our programming and events, please feel free to contact our team at info@acarts.org or by phone at 781-684-6220. You can also find ACA's full accessibility statement on our DEIA Information page

Clay Work Pick-Up

Many of our clay and ceramics classes will require art pick-up following the end of the class or workshop, so that the work can be fired. We ask that students pick up any clay work within two weeks of their work being fired. ACA is not responsible for any clay work that has not been picked up within these two weeks.
