I have been doing pottery for 50 years, starting with the School of Visual Arts in NYC. I went on to open a studio in Brooklyn, with 2 other women, where we taught and sold our work, and where I built a gas kiln. Some years later I traveled to Japan and fell in love with wood-fired pottery and the Japanese Tea Ceremony. I returned to America and built a wood-burning kiln in the Catskills. I spent the next 10 years raising children and then got back to pottery, selling in various shops in NH. Now I live in Medford, MA and continue to do my work loving it as much as ever.
