Photography has been part of my life from the time I was old enough to hold my parent’s Instamatic. That was the beginning of the end, and ever since I've never been very far from my camera.
Over the years I have explored many aspects of the lens from shooting nature and sports, to events and weddings. Finding the perfect composition, subject, and lighting is what intrigues me. Though I favor nature photography, I constantly seek new perspectives which inspire images that may be anywhere at any time.
Challenging myself through understanding old school vintage cameras as well as the new digital world has helped sparked my creative process. Having said that I am having fun with shooting film again.
Capturing a moment is sheer magic! Combining my eye with the lens and the combination of light, atmosphere and at times humor makes for a successful image. I am so very inspired by the story within the story and I continue to look at the world around me with awe and amazement.
