I have been exhibiting Art Festivals throughout the country for the past 35 years. I start off with a piece of plain white silk sketch the designs onto the silk and draw with resist, the silk is then stretched on the frames and hand painted with custom mixed dyes. The pieces are then steamed for a couple of hours to bond the dye to the silk it is then washed, cut and sewn into the pieces it was designed for. Wearable art for all occasions.
