I have been exhibiting in art festivals for the past 25 years travelling throughout America. Each one of my hand painted silk wearables is one of a kind. The designs derived from nature and imagination are drawn with resist onto white silk which is stretched onto frames. The pieces are then hand painted with custom mixed dyes using
a watercolour technique. The silk is then steamed to bond the dye to the fiber after which it is washed to remove excess dye, pressed and is now ready to be cut and hand sewn into the various garments and accessories they were designed for.
