My paintings are an exploration of memory, movement, and place. Working primarily in acrylic and mixed media, I draw inspiration from the shifting landscapes of travel and the quiet rhythms of nature. Each canvas becomes a reflection of a journey, an abstracted map of the way light falls across water, the hush of a forest, or the fleeting bloom of a magnolia. I approach the surface as a field of discovery, where layers of paint, texture, and gesture create atmospheres that are both familiar and dreamlike, suggesting coastlines, waves, gardens, and paths without defining them. This balance between structure and openness allows the viewer to enter the work and locate their own memory or emotion within it.
