Dear Friends,

ACA is proud to announce that we have been awarded a prestigious Massachusetts Cultural Facilities Fund Grant of $187,000 to help create a new home for ACA.

ACA's renovation of the Central School as ACA's new home is one of 61 capital projects funded by the Cultural Facilities Fund (CFF) in this year's grant cycle.  The awards were announced today at a public celebration of the CFF's $100 million investment in cultural facilities projects over the past ten years.  Governor Charlie Baker congratulated the CFF for their enormous impact on the state's arts and culture organizations and the cultural economy.

This grant is a major boost to ACA capital campaign.  With the help of all of the members of the community who have come together to raise over $250,000 since last May, this grant brings us to a total of nearly $450,000 for the new ACA. The funds raised to date will allow us to "break ground" on the building project but we still need your help.

ACA set a goal to raise $300,000 by June 30th.  Reaching this goal will allow us to start the building project on time so we can unveil ACA's newly renovated space to the public in early 2018.  To complete the project we need to raise a total of $600,000 by December 31, 2017.

Join us today to build the future of ACA!

As you may have heard, gifts made before June 1 will be matched by a generous anonymous donor.
