This will be a singular opportunity to experience Scotland, mix with locals and grow your own photographic practice. You’ll have opportunities to photograph everything from castles against the sunset to street performers at Waverly Train Station.
This trip is limited to 10 students and will include daily photo instruction, guide shooting and peer review, as well as exciting opportunities to explore the city and its environs.
This workshop is intended for photographers with previous photographic experience.
About Edinburgh
Edinburgh is a uniquely historic, eccentric and enchanting city. It is a mix of bustling shopping streets, cozy pubs, winding alleys (wynds to locals) and windswept hills. The Old Town is centered upon the Royal Mile, a cobbled street leading past cathedrals, bagpipers and charming curving streets all the way from the Palace of Holyrood up to Edinburgh Castle. Across Princes Street Gardens stand the elegant Georgian row houses of New Town. The broad streets are occupied by posh historic homes, upscale shopping and gorgeous cafes.
As you travel through Edinburgh, you can see anything, Fringe Festival performers, University of Edinburgh Students, longtime locals and changing neighborhoods. You’ll be charmed by the variety and interest of the city – it’s a place that makes you want to linger and enjoy.
