Twisted Square Studio is the artistic practice of Christopher B. Moore, a printmaker, physicist, and data scientist based in Arlington, MA.  After an academic background in astrophysics and a career as a data scientist, I decided to concentrate on something that obsessed me all along: visual art. I am interested in ways of representing shapes or ideas without directly drawing them and in combining, transforming, and overlapping simple geometric shapes. These compositions keep me thinking, moving, and reinterpreting the work as I look at it. My work incorporates a variety of modern printmaking methods including letterpress prints, linoleum cuts, and plotter drawings.
